Joining Souls offers a gamut of wedding ceremonies tailored to your needs and to fit your personalities that will reflect your uniqueness and your love story. I make every effort to bring your stories and your values into the ceremony. As your Officiant, I will set the tone and maintain the flow to ensure you have a beautiful and memorable ceremony. I have an energetic personality and I'm eager to provide wedding services to suit your specific needs. I try to find ways to add a PERSONAL touch to weddings, and this has been well received. I will work closely with you and your fiancé to plan your ceremony details including readings, prayers, poetry, music, unity rituals, inclusion of others and vows. This personalized planning will be done through personal meetings, emails, texts, calls or FaceTime. Then, I craft your unique ceremony that will be reviewed for your approval. We will work together to “make it perfect!” My couples will be at ease knowing that regardless of their faith, belief, or choice of love, they will be respected and honored. I offer pre-marital counseling, as well as Renewal of Vows. I am happy to coordinate with your photographer, DJ/Band and wedding coordinator. This process is a labor of love for me.

Traditional Ceremony
This is the ceremony most people are familiar with…”to have and to hold…” etc.
Non-Traditional Ceremony
This is similar to a civil ceremony and may or may not refer to a specific spiritual belief.
I will help you incorporate your values and stories into your personal ceremony.
Civil Ceremony
This ceremony allows the couple to include readings, prayers, stories, and vows and allows for your personal creativity.
Non-denominational Ceremony
This ceremony has no association with a religion and allows for your personal creativity.
Spiritual Ceremony
This ceremony allows for references to spiritual beliefs without adhering to a specific religion.
Religious Ceremony
This ceremony often takes place in your place of worship. If you choose not to hold your ceremony in your place of worship,
we can incorporate features of your religion into your ceremony.
Interfaith Ceremony
This ceremony provides a resolution for couples who have different spiritual, religious or cultural backgrounds
and allows us to incorporate parts of both of your experiences.
Customized Ceremony
Together we create the ceremony that is the perfect for the two of you and blended families, if desired.

Perfectly Planned
Wedding Ceremonies and Prices
All You Need is Love Package $395
This Traditional Ceremony package incorporates wording from one of my sample ceremonies. If you want a simple, yet delightful ceremony experience, this is the one for you. You choose which ceremony fits you as well as any add ins (sand, rose, wine, etc). We then combine these features with any readings, traditions, music, vows, that you wish to include. The All You Need is Love Package includes one in-person or FaceTime planning session and as much telephone and email support as you’d like. Religious, Non-religious, Spiritual? Your choice! It’s your ceremony!
Sunshine of My Love Package $495
This is one of our most popular packages for couples who want a more personalized ceremony. Includes The All You Need is Love Package as shown PLUS a more in-depth design process with me through a longer in-Person or FaceTime session, and as much telephone and email support as you’d like. I will provide you with a questionnaire to complete in advance of our meeting that will help us combine the ceremony wording you’ve chosen from our samples along with your personal love story and any readings or add-ins you wish to incorporate. We work together to make your ceremony as personal as possible, and as memorable as possible for you and your guests. Religious, Non-religious, Spiritual? Your choice! It’s your ceremony!
Love Me Do Package (Elopement & Vow Renewal) $200-$250
So you want to get married right now or in a few days? Wanting to renew your wedding vows? Let’s do this! I will perform a civil wedding ceremony that is simple, yet includes features to make you feel “just married” without the need for a lot of planning. Applying for a Marriage License in Maryland takes less than 15 minute, however there is a 48 hour waiting period before you can get married.

Rehearsal
Monday through Thursday $100
Friday through Sunday $125
Plus travel as applicable (see contract)
Rehearsals provide a great opportunity to help everyone feel confident and will ensure the ceremony flows smoothly on your wedding day, in terms of the order of the ceremony, the processional and recession, as well as a chance for those who may be reading to practice. If you are having a wedding party that exceeds the Bride, the Groom, a Maid/Matron of Honor, a Best Man, it is strongly recommended that you hold a Rehearsal with the Officiant.
ABOUT ME
I bring 41 years of experience in education with 26 of those years being in counseling, as well as a host of life experiences. I have been married for 32 years to my husband Rob, and we have a lovely daughter who has followed me into a career of education. I have been, and am, active in my community at large in a number of ways. Being a Wedding Officiant was a dream of mine since attending the wedding of a friend where the wedding was so personalized to suit the couple that I decided then and there that I wanted to do the same for other couples. In a phrase, I enjoy helping people! I look forward to helping you plan and carry out your dream wedding ceremony!
